Jardín beach

The majestic Jardín beach offers a background view of the Teide volcano and it’s one of the best beaches in Tenerife. The contrast of the majestic exotic plants with the black sand and the infinity of the ocean is striking. Let the charm of this quiet and pleasant atmosphere invade your heart.

The location of Jardín beach is ideal as it is close to many points of interest, so you have no excuse to miss them. It’s located a mile away from the Plaza del Charco.

At the end of the beach, you will find the typical neighborhood of Punta Brava where you can have a drink and eat. A little further away is Loro Park, a beautiful zoo filled with amazing exotic plants.

You can admire the charming pebbles sculptures gathered on the beach by its visitors.

This beach is remarkably sandy. There are however some small stones when you enter the water, it’s convenient if you have water footwear. Toilets are also available for visitors.

Take me to the Canary Islands! ?

Playa de Los Cristianos

South-west of Tenerife, in the municipality of Arona, is the village of Los Cristianos. You will discover a large sea promenade, Juan Alfonso Batista Avenue, which borders with the beach of the same name. This beach has a completely different landscape than the previous beach, but it’s equally captivating. It’s composed of golden fine sand, giving the water a splendid crystalline color. Contemplate the swell of charming little fishing boats. You can also find a great offer of water sports.

On the promenade, you will find many restaurants offering typical local dishes and international dishes, as well as pretty little shops to visit. It’s possible to rent a deck chair and umbrella. This beach is ideal for children because the water is very calm. It has volleyball nets, perfect for creating wonderful memories with family or friends. It has an easy access beach for people with reduced mobility: it has ramps and footbridges, and parking with reserved spaces.

Find your accommodation in the iconic city of Los Cristianos

Playa de las Vistas

Located in Arona, the Playa de las Vistas has the Blue Flag. It has a length of 850 meters and the crystal clear waters are ideal for spending moments with the family. The water is very calm, so you can safely play in the water with your children. This beach is very close to that of Los Cristianos, only 150 meters separate them, so it’s highly recommended to take the opportunity to visit these two wonders in the same day. Just like the beach of Los Cristianos, Playa de las Vistas is one of the 12 beaches of Tenerife known as “accessible beaches’’ whose access is facilitated for people with reduced mobility. The parking area of the Port Maritime area is the most convenient place but it’s not free. You can also choose to park a little further and walk to the beach.

Stay in the incredible Costa Adeje in Santa Cruz

Playa de El Bollullo

Located in the village called El Rincón, this small black sand beach is little known to tourists, yet it is an unmissable island. Surrounded by impressive volcanic rocks, this place seems to belong to another world. One suddenly feels tiny in the face of the immensity of the universe, and the splendor of nature in its pure and wild state. This magical place promises a reconnection with nature, far from the noise of cars and the hustle and bustle of cities. The authenticity that emerges from this beach is striking and the warm welcome of the rescuer and the owner of the small snack will give you the desire to never leave this place. Make sure to stay until sunset time! The waves can be quite strong throughout the year, so be careful during your visit. It’s a bit difficult to access, but it’s worth the effort.

Playa de las Teresitas

The golden sand beach of Las Teresitas is located in the city of San Andrés, under the Anaga massif and it’s one of the best beaches in Tenerife. It stretches for 1.5 kilometers and is dotted with palm trees giving it the feeling of exoticism and total disconnection. This beach is considered one of the most beautiful in the northern part of Tenerife, and can without any hesitation be compared to those of the Caribbean. The water is very calm and perfect for swimming with children. A large selection of bars and restaurants will be at your disposal by the beach. Yoga classes and aerobics are often present on the beach, you can also play beach volleyball. You will find of course showers, sun lounges, and deck chairs.
